hi everyone. Canny here. Appreciate its been a few weeks since last communication so touching base – hope everyone is safe and navigating through isolation. On the cricketing side the construction of the new facility looks great and we are having some encouraging recruitment conversations. I hope everyone – whether you are a player, coach, administrator or volunteer – has an opportunity to reflect on the one thing you can work on to support Mitcham cricket next season. If we all improve on one thing that would be pretty special consolidation. Switching gears my good friend Jackie-boy (jack woods) has got me watching Michael Jordan’s documentary “last dance” . If you have access to Netflix it’s pretty special. It’s not surprising that the things he talks about are consistent with Ricky Ponting in the “test series” – competitive preparation, belief and backing yourself and playing the game the right way.
